I logged in yesterday for the first time since January. I did some scenarios. I did some quests, and I actually had FUN.

The reality is that I hadn’t logged in in forever dawned on me yesterday — it’s not that life’s been too busy, but my priorities have really changed. Stressing out over a raid 3 nights a week wore on my psyche, and made it difficult to really unwind after juggling a full time job. I don’t know that I’ll ever get back to progression raiding again, but I enjoyed logging in, doing a few things, and logging out with no commitment or obligation weighing in the balance.

If I were still raiding like I had been, I’d probably not have had the time to work on my freelance projects which have turned into money makers — and it’s something that I don’t stress over.

I think its a good trade-off. Lodur, thanks for posting. I’m with Wist on this, but it still doesn’t get you off the hook from visiting sometime, ok?
